Detailed introduction
Material properties: The tube body is made from a bimetallic composite pipe, replacing the corrosion-resistant materials 5 Cr and 13 Cr to reduce material costs. The joints are fabricated using cladding welding, which prevents galvanic corrosion at the connection points.
The threaded connection features a three-stage sealing design—shoulder-to-shoulder contact, conical surface-to-conical surface sealing, and thread-sealing—offering a reliable alternative to thickened tubing designs. It allows for repeated make-up and break-out operations, enabling quick coupling and uncoupling for rapid connections that are easy to handle on-site.
Scope of application: Available in any steel grade and specifications ranging from 2-3/8 to 4-1/2 inches, with wall thicknesses from 4.83 to 9.65 mm; suitable for well depths of 3,500–5,500 meters, ideal for medium- to low-pressure oil and gas wells, and capable of handling maximum reservoir pressures up to 69.0 MPa—without leakage after 20 cycles of internal pressure testing.
