"10,000-Meter Well-Use Rare-Earth Steel Drill Pipe" Project

The "10,000-Meter Well-Use Rare-Earth Steel Drill Pipe" project is a cutting-edge industry initiative in which our company is actively involved. The project aims to develop rare-earth steel drill pipes specifically designed for use in 10,000-meter-deep wells, addressing the limitations of current S135-grade drill pipes when applied in such extreme depths. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the sulfur-resistant properties of V150 material and tackle critical issues like corrosion on the inner walls of drill strings. This project holds profound strategic significance for China’s oil and gas exploration and development. It aligns perfectly with the nation’s major projects, which demand high-performance drill pipes capable of meeting the challenges of ultra-deep well drilling. By overcoming key technological bottlenecks in 10,000-meter deep-well drilling, the project will not only boost oil and gas extraction efficiency but also strengthen national energy security. Currently, the project has already been strategically deployed in Xinjiang Oilfield and Southwest Oil & Gas Fields. At the same time, it is driving innovative applications of rare-earth steel materials in the drill pipe industry, spurring technological upgrades across related sectors and enhancing China’s global competitiveness in international oil and gas equipment manufacturing.

"Research and Industrialization of Special Threaded Oil Casing for Unconventional Oil and Gas Development" project

The "Research and Industrialization of Special Threaded Oil Casing for Unconventional Oil and Gas Development" project aims to address the challenges of insufficient economic viability and applicability of oil casing materials and threads used in unconventional oil and gas extraction in the Ordos Basin. By developing two types of specially designed threaded oil casings, the project seeks to overcome critical technical hurdles in sulfur-resistant sealing and compression-resistant sealing technologies. This initiative is of significant importance for safeguarding the nation's oil and gas energy security, as it can help reduce development costs and drive the advancement of non-API-standard tubing materials. Moreover, the successful commercialization of these innovations is expected to create job opportunities, boost the growth of both the oil and gas development sectors and the equipment manufacturing industry, and ultimately contribute to the sustainable, safe, and environmentally friendly development of the entire industrial chain. Currently, the project has completed key milestones, including market research, product positioning, solution validation, technical alignment, and pilot testing. Additionally, the procurement technical agreement has been signed, marking the transition into the critical phase of product prototyping and rigorous evaluation.

Bimetallic Metallurgical Composite Pipe Project

The bimetallic metallurgical composite pipe project aims to meet the domestic oil and gas fields' growing demand for high-end, corrosion-resistant oil and casing pipes. Guided by the company’s academician workstation and expert advisory board, the project leverages laser cladding technology to seamlessly fuse stainless steel with low-alloy steel, significantly enhancing the corrosion resistance of the pipes. Compared to mainstream 13Cr and super-13Cr products currently available on the market, this innovative solution offers comparable performance at a lower cost. The project is expected to require an investment of 20 million yuan and is currently in the equipment installation phase, with trial production slated to begin in October. Once fully operational, the project is projected to help domestic oil and gas companies cut procurement costs by approximately 50%.

Green Circular Recycling and Remanufacturing Project

The Green Cycle Remanufacturing Project was launched to address the rising costs incurred annually as oilfields replace old pipelines—due to safety concerns like rusting, perforation, leaks, and pipe bursts—to prevent potential hazards. Leveraging our company’s proprietary patented pipeline remanufacturing technology, the project has established a state-of-the-art green recycling production line. This innovative technology directly repurposes used pipelines for manufacturing, enabling resource savings of over 93% and significantly reducing operational expenses for oilfields. Currently, the project has been fully completed and is set to begin trial operations soon, moving into the critical phases of project acceptance and standard review. Once fully operational, the project is projected to generate an annual output value of 80 million yuan, with an estimated annual profit of 5 million yuan. Beyond its economic benefits, the project will not only meet the pipeline needs of nearby oilfields but also contribute positively to local economic growth. Additionally, it will deliver substantial social benefits, fostering sustainable development in the region.
